Chen Cheng is a Singaporean Ph.D. candidate in Cultural Studies in Asia, Department of Communication and New Media, at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests overlap cultural studies, participatory design, and community-building. Currently, he is also an instructor of Design Thinking at the College of Design and Engineering, faculty of the Division of Industrial Design at NUS. Cheng holds an MA in Museum Studies & Curatorial Practices from NTU, a B.A. in Spatial Architectural Design from the University of Central Lancashire, UK, and a Diploma in Interior Design from Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.
