Chen Cheng is a Design Thinking instructor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), College of Design and Engineering (CDE), faculty of the Division of Industrial Design.
He is also a Ph.D. candidate in Cultural Studies in Asia (Department of Communication and New Media (CNM). His research interests overlap cultural studies, design, and community participation.
Cheng is a design educator, practitioner, and scholar who champions creative agency across the community. He holds an MA in Museum Studies & Curatorial Practices from NTU, a B.A. in Spatial Architectural Design from the University of Central Lancashire, UK, and a Diploma in Interior Design from Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.
